The 57th Rose Bowl got underway Friday, June 6th with a wine and cheese registration in the evening. Saturday saw up to 80 ladies teeing off amid a little rain, a little cold and a little wind. A beautiful dinner was served Saturday evening thanks to Kayla and her excellent clubhouse staff. Saturday deuces were awarded to Nona Fransen and Carol McCrady.

Sunday tee time was 8:00 am and the game was followed by lunch and prizes. Judy Boucher announced that her mother Alice Redding was unable to attend and make the presentation. But Ralph and Alice's grand-daughter Patti and great-grandson Ethan did the honours.

It is with great sadness that we say farewell to the Redding family who have sponsored this tournament for so many great years. There is, however, a new sponsor on the horizon so we will say thank you to everyone who participated in the success of this event and look forward to seeing you in 2009.
